Hi Dean

Just found your site through a link from IncDirectory script. The funny thing is that I am building a directory and will see if I can link it in to a standard wordpress install!

I have used wp for years and thoroughly encourage the use of it as much as possible including our own church website.

I have built a plugin to run a shop from wp and will continue to help in its development including promoting as a blog tool amongst Christians etc..

I’ve installed a couple Word Press sites and think it’s a very flexible and simple tool.

In fact, we’re about to use it for a church project — someone called me on the phone yesterday and started out “I don’t suppose you know anything about blogs, do you deb?”

Today I was able to point them here as an example.

I see that trying to post a second time does give you a warning that it’s duplicate material. That helps, but it’d be nicer to have some indication that the message *was* received, particularly since they don’t show up on the blog item immediately. Is this anything under your control or is it buried in wordpress code?

Sure would be nice if the comments would show some sign they’ve been accepted when you submit. Otherwise we might be multi-posting when it doesn’t show up. Is there anything you can do on that?

When I first started reading your site I though – blogging for a Church website. That’s well, I didn’t get it.

Now I’ve seen the light. I have my own and I am working on our Parish Committee to let me roll over the Church’s website to WordPress.

Glad to see you’re back in action. Also, thanks for all the work over at blogs4God.
