Cute Tricks With Perl and Apache

I found this page entirely by accident, and though it is dated March of 1999, Cute Tricks With Perl and Apache is must reading for anyone running mod_perl on an Apache server who has the ability to make or request changes in their site’s configuration.

Granted, his examples are in Perl, which is my personal weapon of choice. That said, I wouldn’t think it hard to do the same in other competent tools such as PHP and Python. In either case, it is eye opening reading as to what sort of possibilities are available to a webservant.

Of course, should one expect anything less from Lincoln Stein, the Perl guru who gave us core tools as CGI.pm?
