What could be more redundant than the term “Evil Pop-up Ads?” They are hated, reviled and called all sorts of names. They’re even discouraged in great books like Vincent Flanders’ latest tome (something all my faithful followers should buy, read and commit memory).
Well guss what ? Survey says “forget it, we’ll take our business elsewhere” or so says Slashdot | Pop-Up Ads Begin To Face Serious Opposition as it sites an article in the NY Times.
Don’t get in the user’s way. Pop-up and Pop-under ads frustrate a user to no end. Avoid using them or your users will avoid visiting your site.
