For the body is not one member, but many … If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the sense of smell be? … If they were all one member, where would the body be? – 1 Corinthians 12:14, 17, 19

As one can see from the snippets of Scripture above, the Church at Corinth was having problems. Appearently, they did not get the concept that the Work of God requires a diverse population of talent, personalities and callings.

This message still rings true today, and it is within that spirit that of the foot supporting the eye, that I have the joy of mentioning a “sister” … or a least a “cousin” site to HYCW:

Association of Christian Web Authors (ACWA) – one of many wonderful places on the web I have recently found, or in this case, have been introduced, that gives those of us contending with church and para-church web sites a place to – well let’s quote them directly:

ACWA stands for the Association of Christian Web Authors. We began 4 years ago in May of 1997. We are comprised of all types Christian Web designers, from the full time professional to the most innocent beginner. We span all age groups from pre-teen to senior citizen, and we all have one goal in mind, to present the person of Jesus Christ to the internet the best way we know how. As a group, we help one another learn and grow in this technology.

Go, enjoy, learn – and don’t be surprised to see some crossover of articles. I’ve been looking at theirs and they have a couple already posted that I have in my queue – and that’s okay because:

… God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. – 1 Corinthians 12:18
